Bonjour!
I’ve been a professional French teacher since 2007. I taught French in various language schools, for big companies and at university. Since 2020, I’ve been teaching exclusively online. These experiences have allowed me to be in contact with different types of students, from children to adults, from beginner to proficiency, for leisure or business purposes or to prepare for the official French certifications (I’m also a DELF examiner). Therefore, I’m used to adapt to the needs and learning objectives of my students. This means that I can choose the right teaching material so that we can practice and progress according to your own goals and interests.
Languatalk is perfect to learn a language in a very efficient, funny and motivating way. My teaching method is based on oral communication and pronunciation, which doesn’t mean that you won’t learn and practice grammar and structures which are necessary to express oneself properly. Through the material provided such as books, newspapers, videos, you will also be improving your reading and listening skills. We can also work your writing if you need or want to.

Christelle has been a wonderful tutor for this adult, studying French for the first time, and has shown patience, enthusiasm, and expertise in helping me acquire some language skills. She has shaped my curriculum to my needs--a desire to develop skills in travel and conversation for social situations--and balances studies with workbooks and audio practice with attempts at conversation as my ability increases. Also of interest to me are cultural, geographic, and social aspects of French life and the French people, and Christelle has given me a better understanding of this fascinating and beautiful country. I look forward to continuing my studies with Christelle, gaining ability and understanding slowly, but surely!

Absolutely brilliant teacher, really enjoying the lessons. Christelle is easy to talk to, working through both exercises and general conversation. The lessons are fun and challenging at the same time. 5 lessons complete

I have had three lessons with Christelle so far. She is delightful and I enjoy each lesson. She is patient, listens well, knows her grammar and sends appropriate homework. Christelle is excellent with conversational French and has a good sense of humour. Highly recommended.
