About me:
I’m Diana, a friendly and patient English teacher from the beautiful city of Cape Town currently living in Portugal. In 2017, I completed my TESOL and TEYLT trainings and since then I have worked with students from all around the world both in language schools and online. I have lived and taught English in 5 different countries (Spain, Portugal, Indonesia, Turkey and South Africa) to students of all levels (beginners to advanced). In 2021, I became certified to teach Ielts and have thus helped numerous students with their exam preparations too.
I'm passionate about learning and teaching languages and have studied Portuguese, Spanish, German and Turkish. Through my own language studies, I have learnt that an active conversational approach is the best way to master a language! Some of my other passions include yoga, travel, food and art!:)
My lessons:
My approach to teaching depends a lot on the level and goals of the student. Each student is unique with different necessities so I don’t have a one size fits all proposition. Lessons are tailored to you and are adapted as you progress.Expect to receive a lot of feedback, corrections and if you would like, homework activities.
In our first class, we will have an introductory lesson where I do a speaking evaluation, we get to know each other and we discuss a future learning strategy. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to send me a message :)

Diana is really good teacher with had all patience helping me through the IELTS exams process. Also I feel very comfortable when I speak her. Anyone who wants to speak easily can choose himself without hesitate.

Ms. Diana is a nice and highly knowledgeable teacher with outstanding skills. I have started taking her classes since February 2023. I love her teaching style, and she truly cares about her students. Even though the lessons are online, she provides a comfortable and fun atmosphere. She definitely works according to your needs, which practically helped me understand English better. She gives information about a topic to understand first and then makes the student practice in the class. After class, she gives homework that allows us to practice our skills. She is excellent at preparing the lesson prior to the class, which makes the lesson a wonderful experience. She is an amazing teacher and I feel proud and privileged to have been taught by her.
