Hi there! My name is Peter , I teach Swedish as a foreign language and I live in Stockholm, Sweden.
I've been giving group lessons and private lessons for more than 5 years , both in real life and online. My students have been from all over the world, ranging from beginners (A1 ) to quite advanced (C1).
I believe in a casual and relaxed teaching environment for you to progress quickly in learning Swedish. Fun lesson! There were bits of very useful grammar throughout the lesson related to the stories we read. We also filled in the blanks which made me think of different nouns and adjectives. It was very satisfying to realize how many words I already know and also to make stories sound bizarre and funny using those words.

The lesson was very engaging: we read a page from a Swedish book, conversed using numbers (dates, ages, time). We also discussed some grammar – not just for the grammar’s sake, but using the sentences we read. I was pleasantly surprised that I could understand some of the sentences in their entirety – reading and listening to Peter saying them. It is a huge progress for me as I am a complete beginner. Peter is very patient, easy-going, and very positive with his feedback. He also helps (very gently) to correct my pronunciation and to use the correct words in a sentence. An hour came by quickly and I felt that I made good progress.
