As someone who is a complete beginner, Iris has been the perfect tutor for me to learn Korean. She is very knowledgeable and patient which makes it a very comfortable environment for myself. In our first few lessons, she has helped me build a foundation with learning the alphabet, numbers, which gives you an understanding of how the lanuage is written and spoken. She has provided me with study material so I can practice during the week. She has a very positive energy and is very friendly and personable. I highly recommend using Iris if you want to learn Korean!

Iris is a wonderful teacher! I've been studying on my own for a while, and she was so good at adapting her lesson as she got a better idea of the things I know versus the things I don't--or the things I struggle with despite "knowing" the rules XD. She's very cheerful and friendly, and she's very good at drawing you out so that you try to use what you have learned. Even when I stumbled when my grasp of Korean failed me, she was good about both letting me try to find a way to say what I wanted to say, but she also gave me the vocab and phrasing to not just get my literal meaning across, but to also convey the tone and nuance I was going for. I look forward to learning so much with her!
