I do not only teach languages to earn money, it is my passion to teach, to have conversations with people from various countries, to allow someone to learn a new language, to open doors in this global world.
I am a German native, single mom of 2, with more than 10 years of teaching experience and about 20 years of tutoring experience. I have been teaching online for more than 6 years, but also taught in colleges, language schools and many private settings.
I have lived in the US for 7 years and came back to Germany in 2017. In 2020 I decided to become a full-time online teacher. I teach grammar, vocabulary, prepare you for tests and also for interviews, small talk or travels. I enjoy conversations as much as exam prep.

Another brilliant lesson with Julia. I am really building my German vocabulary. Julia keeps the lessons entertaining, enjoyable and informative, which as anyone who has ever attempted teaching is a difficult skill.

Another great lesson from Julia. Fun and challenging at the same time. I already feel more confident with German. Julia is an excellent teacher giving the right mix of encouragement and support when I get stuck and have forgotten a word we have just learnt.
