My name is Pamela, I'm from Brazil and I'm ready to help you learn Portuguese with ease. I teach students of all levels and I tailor my lessons to your goals and interests, offering bits of cultural content to help you immerse yourself in the language. I have three years of online teaching experience and formal training on Portuguese as a Second Language (PLE - Português como Língua Estrangeira).
Having learned four foreign languages myself, I can understand your difficulties and offer my own experience on how to overcome them. I have a degree in Communication and have worked for ten years in the print and online media. Therefore I can also help you improve your writing and correct or revise your written production.
As for my personal tastes, I'm a big fan of literature, music and cinema, an occasional biker and an avid traveller and foodie.

I really appreciate the patience of this teacher, as I am a forgetful older learner with good intentions but intermittent practice. She is understanding and encouraging...I am trying not to be disappointing as a student...even tho' I find it difficult, I am continuing to take the classes because of her approachable friendliness !

This is the first time I've written a proper review for Pamela (although I always give 5 stars), but she has helped me so much with my business Portuguese, in quite a specific area of vocabulary. I'm leading my first Study Group in Portuguese tomorrow, and I feel way better about it because all of the preparation I've done with Pamela. She's a really great tutor.
