I also work as a designer and an artist.

Me as a Teacher
I have experience teaching at a private school, and I’ve been teaching the Japanese language & culture to foreigners for more than 7 years.
In 2021, I earned a TESOL certification, and in 2022 I earned the certificate "Teaching Japanese as a foreign language".
Although, I still continue to study Japanese language education.
I believe that it’s most important to HAVE FUN to keep your motivation of learning.

POLICY
- If a lesson is about to start within 12 hours, it can NOT be changed to a new time or canceled. Last-minute cancellations won't be refunded.
- If you are more than 10 minutes late without notice the class will be considered a no-show and fully charged.

あかりさん (Akari-san) is the best, an excellent teacher with independently created course materials and lessons plans that make it easy for a complete beginner to start learning the language. She is patient and encouraging! I highly recommend learning with her!

Akari’s lessons are always enjoyable and well prepared, covering key topics clearly and with very helpful tips and explanations. The class materials have all the content set out clearly and help me to learn, go back over and remember. It is really great to be learning with Akari in this way.
