The most important is to have fun and feel comfortable in the lesson, in the first lesson we going to get to know each other and then set your goals, personalize the classes to your needs and learning rhythm. 

It doesn't matter if you just started or already got the basics, if you want to improve your conversation skills or you need help with a special topic. My goal is that you get to understand the German language and will be able to speak it properly in everyday life.

I have been teaching German online for all ages, from beginner to advanced, for 2 1/2 years now.

Learning German must be fun and if you can stay focused, motivated, you will make progress and succeed. That is my job, to help your reaching your goals. First, we will get to know each other so that I know what kind of learner you are, what you like, what your goals are and then I will design the perfect lesson plan for you. My main goal is that you can use the language, in everyday life, the language must be alive and from the first lesson, I can assure you, you will start to communicate in German.

I have been teaching this wonderful language for 11 years and I am certified by the “Goethe Institut”. I love languages and music. I think that learning makes us grow and be better people. We learn something everyday and that keeps us alive.

Willkommen auf meinem Profil. Mein Name ist Maike und ich bin 28 Jahre alt. / Welcome to my profile. My name is Maike, I'm 28 years old. Currently, I live and work in Munich, one of the biggest cities in southern Germany. I grew up in a little village in Baden-Württemberg (south of Germany), did my Bachelor degree in Passau (Bayern), lived in France for a while (Paris and Strasbourg) and in Spain (Valencia) as well, then did my masters degree in Oldenburg (northern Germany). Languages are my passion, as well as travelling, good food and lovely conversations. 

As my main job is working in HR, tutoring and teaching German is a side hustle. Initially, I wanted to stop teaching German when I started my first ”real” job.. As it turns out, I really love teaching though and I couldn’t stop doing it, although I have a limited amount of time when I can do it. 
But I’ve been teaching for such a long time now, and I’ve enjoyed the experience so much that I cannot imagine my life without it. By now, I have made friends all over the world whilst teaching, and I enjoy the experience so much that I wouldn’t want to miss it for the world.

In my eyes, it is a great honour to be able to teach people about my language and my culture, as German and Germany have so much to offer. It’s an enriching experience to get into an exchange with people from other places and learn about their costumes and their culture too.

Such things as grammar are necessary too sometimes - ugh, not cool, I know, right?! - but we'll make it fun and use exercises including things of your everyday life to get the most of it.

I have been teaching German ever since I was in high school when I taught German to exchange students. During university, I started teaching group classes to children and teenagers as well as translating and interpreting for the German consulate in Turkey. After graduating from university, I started teaching full-time as an online teacher on different platforms. My name is Christine. I’m half German, half Belgian, and I have lived in Mexico for 19 years. I have been a teacher for 16 years and I have taught different subjects and languages, such as English, German, Spanish, world history, and geography.  My teaching approach depends on the student's level and interests. That being said, I believe that conversation is an important part of learning a language, and so I often focus on conversation or question-answer sessions in my classes. I love teaching and I always aim to make classes interesting.

I currently use the Netzwerk textbook and workbook by Klett (for A1 level), but I am open to working with other books as well. At the moment I am awaiting new books for other levels. 

My Spanish level is excellent. I speak Latin American Spanish, but I know the grammar for Spanish from both Spain and Latin America.

My name is Marie and I'd like to help you to improve your German.

I'm born and raised in Germany so I'm a native German speaker. Currently I'm living in France and work here as a teacher for German as a scond and foreign language. 

For more than six years I have been teaching German now in Germany and in France and with a lot of passion and joy for all levels and ages. It's a big pleasure for me to get to know so many cultures and people by teaching. Because of my stay in France, I speak French and of course also English.

I love to teach online because it allows me both to get to know new people from all over the world but also to take good care of my family. Until recently, I was employed as a teacher at a school for two years, teaching German as a foreign and second language and physical education from 5th to 10th grade. I spent one year alone in Asia- and one year in Africa, gaining experience in teaching there. I was teaching at the time as part of volunteer work and also privately.

If someone were to describe me, they would say that I am funny, professional, patient and attentive.

I love to travel, be at festivals and do sports (all sports).

I am certified by the Goehte Institute and have over 5 years of experience in teaching German as a foreign and second language.

In general, you will talk a lot and I will correct you. Orally and in writing. We will keep a record of all corrections in GoogleDocs, which will also be available to you after our lessons, so that you can always refer back to it.

The lessons with me are a complete immersion in the world of the fascinating German language. I only use authentic materials (books from Klett, Hueber, Cornelsen; blogs, music, videos by Germans), lots of interactive exercises, games. Lessons are based on the student's preferences, so I select the material individually, depending on the student's wishes and hobbies. I organize the lessons so that 80% of the lessons are spoken by the student. We have conversations, discuss current problems in the life of Germans and other peoples. Lessons with me is not only learning a foreign language, but also constant self-development, improvement in various areas of knowledge.
