Willkommen auf meinem Profil. Mein Name ist Maike und ich bin 28 Jahre alt. / Welcome to my profile. My name is Maike, I'm 28 years old. Currently, I live and work in Munich, one of the biggest cities in southern Germany. I grew up in a little village in Baden-Württemberg (south of Germany), did my Bachelor degree in Passau (Bayern), lived in France for a while (Paris and Strasbourg) and in Spain (Valencia) as well, then did my masters degree in Oldenburg (northern Germany). Languages are my passion, as well as travelling, good food and lovely conversations. 

As my main job is working in HR, tutoring and teaching German is a side hustle. Initially, I wanted to stop teaching German when I started my first ”real” job.. As it turns out, I really love teaching though and I couldn’t stop doing it, although I have a limited amount of time when I can do it. 
But I’ve been teaching for such a long time now, and I’ve enjoyed the experience so much that I cannot imagine my life without it. By now, I have made friends all over the world whilst teaching, and I enjoy the experience so much that I wouldn’t want to miss it for the world.

In my eyes, it is a great honour to be able to teach people about my language and my culture, as German and Germany have so much to offer. It’s an enriching experience to get into an exchange with people from other places and learn about their costumes and their culture too. 

You'd like to work on your conversation skills? No problem! As I am a very talkative person, we'll never have the problem of not finding something that we both want to talk about. Such things as grammar are necessary too sometimes - ugh, not cool, I know, right?! - but we'll make it fun and use exercises including things of your everyday life to get the most of it.

Hi, I'm Your new German teacher. Born and raised in Switzerland but now living in Peru. I'm an artist, graphic designer and much more. I speak fluent English, Spanish and good French. I love to teach online because it allows me both to get to know new people from all over the world but also to take good care of my family. My name is Marie and I'd like to help you to improve your German.

I'm born and raised in Germany so I'm a native German speaker. Currently I'm living in France and work here as a teacher for German as a scond and foreign language. 

For more than six years I have been teaching German now in Germany and in France and with a lot of passion and joy for all levels and ages. It's a big pleasure for me to get to know so many cultures and people by teaching. Because of my stay in France, I speak French and of course also English.

In my classes I set the focus on you as an individual learner. So I prepare every lesson individually based on your personal needs. We will do various types of grammar exercises, reading comprehensions and of course we'll also talk a lot. I'm also having a lot of experience in successfully preparing students for German certificates (Goethe, telc) in all levels. You will benefit from my years of experience as I have a lot of learning material for all kinds of needs and occasions.

I have been teaching German ever since I was in high school when I taught German to exchange students. During university, I started teaching group classes to children and teenagers as well as translating and interpreting for the German consulate in Turkey. After graduating from university, I started teaching full-time as an online teacher on different platforms. Hi! I am Larissa, I am originally from Frankfurt, Germany. Since 2019, I've been teaching German as a foreign language via video chat and in face-to-face sessions. My students come from all over the world, from various age groups and have different skill levels. Depending on your skill level and requirements, we might start at the very beginning, dig into some grammar, do listening, reading and/or conversational exercises. I can also help you with different exam preparations or getting you ready to travel/move to a German speaking country. I like to work with free online sources, but am also happy to work with any material that my students bring to class. It is important to me to create a friendly and judge free atmosphere for my students where they feel comfortable just speaking and asking questions.

I am very passionate about traveling, exploring other countries and learning languages. Teaching is a great way for me to meet people from all over the world and learning about their cultures as well. Currently I am located in Costa Rica and learning Spanish.
