Hello everyone! I'm Andrea. I'm a professional translator and qualified teacher. 
I have been teaching for over 10 years. I have experience with students of all ages and from all over the world. 
I firmly believe that teaching is my calling. I have already traveled and worked all over the world. 
I speak English, Spanish, Italian and a little bit of German as well. I am currently teaching in a university in Southern Italy.

If you're starting from scratch, fret not! My teaching approach ensures that you won't be thrown into speaking Italian right away. Instead, we'll embark on a journey where you'll gradually build a solid foundation in the language, developing your listening and reading skills.

In my lessons, I prioritize creating a grammar-light environment while emphasizing immersion and conversation. However, I recognize the challenges posed by certain grammatical concepts. Therefore, I'm ready to switch to English whenever needed, offering clear explanations for complex grammar topics.

Hi, I am Eleonora and I am from Italy (near Venice). 

With me, you can improve your conversational Italian. I have more than 6 years of experience tutoring students with different levels of Italian. Some of them were beginners when they started and they managed to reach a good level of Italian after a few months. I also helped more experienced students with their university exams or thesis. So, even if my classes here focus more on spoken Italian when there is a need, we can improve your written and academic Italian. 

My classes are personalized according to your needs, level of language, individual interests, and goals. During the classes, you will improve and learn new vocabulary and grammar. The classes are always different and we will use material such as songs, online videos, news, and literature text to help facilitate the conversation and your learning. It would be nice to have a cultural exchange so you can get to learn more about Italian Culture, its History, and its traditions. My students are of different nationalities and backgrounds giving me the chance to keep on learning myself. Personally, I speak fluently French and a bit of German, while I am currently learning Swedish.

Hi! My name is Martina and I am a language enthusiast who loves to teach and learn foreign languages!

My passion for languages started very early when I moved abroad during high school.

After working for a few years in a different industry I decided to follow my passion and it became my full time profession. I am certified Italian tutor (CEDILS certification) as well as a certified English tutor (TEFL certification).

I adapt my teaching approach to each single student, depending on the student’s needs, goals and time to study. I also adapt to the student’s most comfortable learning method, even though I always make sure to use different tools during the classes for a more complete approach (such as listening, reading, speaking, watching videos, completing exercises etc.).

My lessons involve speaking since the very beginning to slowly acquire fluency.

I am super patient and my classes are a safe space for students where they can feel comfortable when they make mistakes: we can work together to improve every time, language learning is a process!

My name is Giusy, I'm a native italian speaker. I've been learning multiple languages for many years now and it is something I am extremely passionate about, which means that I know how difficult it is to learn a language, especially if you are nervous or worried about making mistakes. As your community tutor, I will make sure to keep the conversation fun and easy so you always feel comfortable and relaxed during a lesson. My teaching style is informal and friendly, you will learn new vocabulary and improve your pronounciation while discussing our goals, hobbies and passions. We will focus on creating the perfect balance between the four key aspects of learning a language: speaking, listening, writing and reading, using a range of digital resources to keep the lesson fun and interesting. 

I create customized lessons based on your needs and interests. I will provide you with all the material you need and I will focus on the reading and listening comprehension with the beginners (so they can start to become acquainted with the Italian language) and on conversation and fluency with the intermediate/advanced ones. Grammatical elements will be introduced as you work on your reading, listening and speaking: in this way you will learn about the language structures more naturally. During the first lesson I will give you a placement test (in order to find out your language level) and we will set the goals of the course together.

Hi! I'm Alessandra, I'm a native Italian teacher and I have 7 years of experience teaching to people of all ages. I'm currently living in Spain and I'm in love with learning new languages and teaching mine. I try to transmit my passion to make the learning process easier and more fun.  

My method is based on conversation, which means we will start to talk together since the beginning, integrating the classes with grammar. I speak English and Spanish fluently, so don't hesitate to ask any questions you have and complete the sentences you make in Italian. 

The lessons will be personalized and we will decide everything together: we will talk about the topics you are interested in, we will decide how to reach your goals, you will have the chance to tell me any topic you would like to learn first, whether you would like homework or not and I will send you all the personalized material we will see together. My name is Valeria and I am a professional Italian Teacher. I hold a CEDILS certificate to teach Italian to foreigners, a Ph.D in Asian Studies and I have 10 years of teaching experience at Chinese Universities as well as one to one tutoring in the UK. I have specialised in teaching to Chinese speakers who wish to study in Italy, to European professionals who work for Italian companies, and to retirees passionate about culture and travels. 

I adapt my lesson according to your interests and needs. In every lesson you will find something interesting and stimulating. I teach general, academic and business Italian. I can also help you prepare for language exams. My communicative approach allows the students to speak without inhibitions. I use authentic materials which reflect different aspects of everyday life. I usually start with a written text, a video, or an audio recording, then I focus on vocabulary and grammatical analysis. Finally, with a role play you will be asked to “act” in a simulated situation according to the topic just studied. You will receive feedback and support after each lesson.

If you're just starting and you don't know many Italian words, don't worry! In the beginning, we can speak English. Later, we are going to speak only in Italian!
