I am Alberto, a highly-skilled and dedicated Spanish teacher from Spain. I specialize in teaching Spanish both to children and adults, using interactive and fun methods to make learning a language enjoyable and engaging for everyone. As a native speaker of both Spanish and Italian, I bring a unique perspective to my lessons. I have traveled extensively and have a wealth of experience in different roles, including manufacturing, restaurants, and even as an electrician. I later set up a travel agency and hostel which greatly enriched my cultural knowledge.

I've been praised by my students for my effective and engaging teaching approach. I believe that conversation is key to truly mastering a language, so I've designed my lessons to be interactive and student-centered, where you will be actively participating and speaking instead of just passively listening. I've been successful in helping students of all ages and levels achieve fluency in Spanish.

I make the classes fun and relevant by having conversations about our day to day lives. We start our lessons with conversations in Spanish (for all levels) and then towards the middle of the class move on to reviewing the homework and practicing conversations around those specific sections of the textbook. My name is Gloria. I was born in Barcelona but nowadays I live in a quiet place not far from the city. I am bilingual in Spanish and Catalan and I also speak English and French.

I have been teaching Spanish as a second language online since January 2015 and I have been teaching private classes in other topics to teenagers for about 15 years. Before teaching I had jobs related to my Higher Technical Certificate in Administration.

I know how hard is to learn a language, I know it because I earned two certificates in languages, my First Certificate in English at the Polytechnic of Central London and a Certificat de la Langue Française à l’ l’Alliance Française de Paris.

But what about my lessons? if you book lessons with me, we are not going to do only grammar. We are going to speak!

I will plan lessons according to your needs, level and desires and I’ll correct your mistakes throughout the lesson. I can help you with your pronunciation, vocabulary, expressions and grammar and we’ll focus on your needs based on our conversations.

Speaking is the most difficult goal to achieve and you’ll talk with me without any pressure. Step by step, we'll improve your ability to speak naturally.

If you have time to study on your own I’ll give you homework after the class.

I have been a qualified teacher for 10 years, I am Spanish although I have lived in many different countries. My mother tongue is Spanish but I also speak English, Portuguese and a little French. Teaching Spanish is my passion. The part I like the most about my job is the opportunity to meet different people and learn from them while they enjoy learning Spanish.

I cover all levels and have experience in conversational classes. Every class is adapted to the student's level and will tailored to your needs.

Practical, conversational Spanish includes lots of activities, like word games, guess the word, creating stories using different tenses... 

But if you prefer, we can also have dictations, make grammar exercises or choose online resources or magazine articles to talk about.

And, about me... I was born and raised in Spain (Burgos), and still living here. I love languages and always try to help as much as I can.

¡Hola! I am a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language at the University of Hong Kong and I am passionate about helping students learn Spanish in a practical and fun way. My teaching experience has been gained in schools, universities, and small online groups of individuals. Additionally, I am also an examiner of the official exams of the Cervantes Institute. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, reading, and learning about different cultures.

I am a certified Spanish teacher with experience teaching in various settings including schools, universities, and online. My methodology is very practical and focused on my students practicing the language and learning from their mistakes in an enjoyable and positive way. I use ELE Actual Spanish books as a guide, but it is not necessary for students to buy them as all materials are included in the price of my lessons. During the week, students will have access to the Google Classroom platform to review the class's content, solve exercises as homework, and review materials and corrections I will provide.

I have been teaching Spanish and English for more than ten years. My experience has taught me that basing lessons on conversation helps to improve language level more quickly. Grammar and vocabulary can be dealt with as part of the process rather than in isolation.

After a needs assessment, lessons will be adapted to your specific needs, and on this basis I select the best resources available. Learning a language can be a fun ride and by speaking with a native you will realize that you can communicate in Spanish better than you may think.

Any topic can be adapted for learning lessons, whether you like talking about literature, sports, geography or any hobbies you have. I am learning French myself, which helps me better understand the problems language learners face.

I am qualified Spanish teacher from Málaga (Spain). I lived and taught in London for over 14 years before moving back to Málaga in 2019. I gained my Certificate for Spanish Teaching to Adults in 2011 from International House School of Languages, and I also have a Cambridge CELTA (for English teaching) from the same school, completed in 2020. 

I have taught Spanish to business professionals, at University, to GCSE, A Level and DELE students, and to learners who just take lessons for travelling or self-improvement. My previous and current students all come from multiple backgrounds, nationalities, abilities and levels of Spanish, from total beginner to advanced.

In my classes you will start communicating by simple dialogues (simple if you're a beginner) from the first lesson. I will focus on improving your pronunciation (something often overlooked by teachers); teaching you the grammar gradually, so you don't feel overwhelmed; enriching your vocabulary prioritizing your needs and personal interests; and improving your fluency. My students often praise my patience, my well-planned lessons and the fact that they feel relaxed to learn in class. I welcome mistakes (and correct them of course!) as a sure sign that learning is happening. You do learn a lot from your mistakes. 

As a lifelong lover of the arts and a practicing artist, I like to give my classes a cultural flavour, sharing relevant information about music, films, books and art.
