My duty is to understand the way you learn and adapt my teaching to your skills....regular work and motivation are the other elements ;-)

I am from the south-west of France.. I really like my native language and I am deeply interested in the history of France, its literature, culture, cuisine...and I am also very international as I lived abroad many years, and enjoyed it so much ! I have traveled a lot, met a lot of people and learned different languages such as English, Spanish & Bulgarian...so I've been a learner all my life. I understand the learning mechanisms.

I've also helped a lot of people in their study of French : homework, conversations, pronunciation, French for business, pleasure, practical life, personal projects...thus, I teach different levels (beginners to advanced) and different abilities.

I will adapt to your level and your needs. We will choose the topics together. It could vary from very practical conversations to cultural topics : music, books, photography (my hobby), trips, cinema, sport, etc.. Sometimes, we will go through some vocabulary and grammar rules...your French will improve quickly !

Hi, my name is Farid. Teaching French is something I really enjoy, especially when I witness my students progressing in the language and towards their goals. I have been teaching French for almost 4 years now. My students are children, teenagers and adults of all ages and levels. My lessons are usually customized to meet the needs of the students. I use different materials to teach my students; like comprehension texts, dialogues, stories, vocab materials, games..etc.. In 2010, I left my birth country France to move to the United Kingdom. I am currently in Algeria for a few months, as I wanted to (re)discover my parents country. I love travelling and discovering new cultures and languages. I also speak a little Arabic.

My name is Florence. I come from France and I am an experienced French teacher for foreigners, certified by the Alliance Française de Paris and hold a Master’s degree in FLE (french for foreigners) to teach you my mother tongue. I have experience teaching a wide range of adults from all continents and at all levels.

But also ... before starting to teach French full-time and because of a double technical and commercial training, I worked for a long time in marketing and international trade for companies in various sectors of activities: electrical construction, car accessories, shoes… I also created my own business to distribute my creations of costume jewelry.

I’m originally from the East of France, a small town near the Swiss border, and I've been around a lot! I have lived in different regions of France: from North to South, from East to West, from Paris to Nice, from Lyon to Albi. After living in Valparaiso, Chile, I returned to Europe and then settled in Spain for almost 15 years. Today, I live in Alicante with my family.

I hope to meet you very soon and share very pleasant sessions with you. Please note that I made the choice to teach online only to ADULTS.

I’ve been a professional French teacher since 2007. I taught French in various language schools, for big companies and at university. Since 2020, I’ve been teaching exclusively online. These experiences have allowed me to be in contact with different types of students, from children to adults, from beginner to proficiency, for leisure or business purposes or to prepare for the official French certifications (I’m also a DELF examiner). Therefore, I’m used to adapt to the needs and learning objectives of my students. This means that I can choose the right teaching material so that we can practice and progress according to your own goals and interests. 

Languatalk is perfect to learn a language in a very efficient, funny and motivating way. My teaching method is based on oral communication and pronunciation, which doesn’t mean that you won’t learn and practice grammar and structures which are necessary to express oneself properly. Through the material provided such as books, newspapers, videos, you will also be improving your reading and listening skills. We can also work your writing if you need or want to.

About me

I graduated in French Literature, Philosophy and History (Université Paris 10), and I hold a M. Sc. in Global Change Management (HNE Eberswalde).

Before I moved to São Paulo, Brazil, I lived five years in Berlin where I started to teach. There I tutored privately and also gave literacy classes in German for young refugees. From May 2017 to September 2017, I did training to be a French teacher and I taught French at the Technical University of Berlin for three semesters.

At the moment, I work with several language schools in São Paulo (IFESP, Versátil Idiomas, and the French Alliance). I have experience with teaching to all levels and ages. I also have experience in creating didactic material. 

In parallel to my teaching activities, I also have a solid experience with translation work (English, German, Portuguese > French).

Depending on your objective with the French language (pass a test, work, travel, personal curiosity, etc.), I offer a customised learning path with lively and playful lessons.

Through the years, teaching French became a real passion for me, and I think that I enjoy the progress of my students as much as they do ! 

Depending on your level, your needs and your expectations, I will build the lessons including more or less grammar and as soon as you feel ready for it, we will focus on conversation practice. Conversation is a good way to improve fast both your speaking and understanding skills while keeping the classes interactive and fun !

I love to talk about lots of different things and I will make sure that each lesson covers a different topic. Be assured that I won't forget to rectify your pronunciation if necessary. 

Writing being a very important part of the learning process, we can practice that too. It's a very efficient way to see your weaknesses in grammar and vocabulary and to correct them.  

If you are preparing for exam, such as DELF and DALF we will work on all aspects of the examination in order for you to be fully ready for the day ! I have successful students from A2 exam to C2.

I teach in a dynamic and engaging way and use conversation as one of my main tools, so you’ll get plenty of talking time. My teaching materials are constantly updated and I use lots of different tools such as videos, audios and texts  !

If you wish, I will also send you some exercises, podcasts and other things to do between classes.  

At the end of every class I will send you a recap, together we will build up a learning plan for you and we will check that we are going in the right direction with some quick test every  5 lessons or so if you wish to!
