I've taught in France, Denmark, India, Russia, Hong Kong and Berlin since 2009. I have a Didactic of Languages diploma from La Sorbonne University. I teach anyone from 4 years-old.

Lessons are tailored to each student using different books, music or movies to dispense knowledge of the French language and its culture. I look forward to meeting you!
 

I wasn’t always a French tutor. I have been working with and for various companies for over 15 years.

I am passionate about languages since my youngest years. During my long stays abroad, I used to teach my roommates and friends. A few years ago, I decided to teach my native language in a more formal way. I started on a volunteering basis, teaching French to migrants.

After a while, I felt the need to improve my mastery of French teaching. That’s the reason why I decided to get a certification with the Cavilam Alliance Française of Vichy. There, I was trained according to the action-oriented approach recommended by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

As a certified teacher, I am able to provide you with customised, dynamic, playful lessons based on your individual needs. My goal is also to help you to learn how to learn with pleasure! Whatever your level or goals are, we will build up, together, the best learning plan for yourself.

I'm Romain, I provide Online Private French Lessons for adults & kids.
I'm the creator of a visual method that uses symbols to represent words, tenses, and grammatical aspects, representing each word with a clear and obvious symbol, helping your brain to memorize and make complex sentences.
This tool is great for people who want & need to visualize what they’re learning.
Moreover, illustrations make your learning experience more fun, easier, but also incredibly effective.
With those symbols placed side by side, the student will start to talk from the very first class guaranteed! Kids learn their native language visually, why would we use another method with adults?

For the past 10 years, I've been teaching French in NYC (Tribeca School), in Shanghai (Fudan University) & Rio de Janeiro.
I have a lawyer degree but I followed my passion for languages and teaching French is my main activity.

I have observed that some of my students have learnt French in school for many years, some could write and read, but mostly they couldn't speak French.
That's why I've created a visual teaching method that works principally with your visual memory, because my first goal is to speak with you as soon as possible only in French.

I quickly grasp the strengths and weaknesses of my students, and I like to challenge them during the class so the lesson is neither too easy nor too hard. I also adapt my lessons according to your needs.
I just need to know your wishes, and I will prepare every time a special lesson for you, in accordance with your interests.

Bonjour ! My name is Stéphanie.

I am a very friendly and relaxed teacher and I will make you feel at ease with me (which is primeval when learning a new language). According to your level, needs and desires, I am using different media and resources. If you are beginners, I prefer using numerical methods responding to the progression of the Common European Framework of Reference. A language has to be spoken; that is why I often start and finish classes working on oral production while I am correcting you on a Google doc, not to be interrupting you.

I always remain available for my students on Whatsapp or by email, to answer any questions or doubts you may have. My availabilities are flexible so we could agree on a personalized schedule.

On a more personal note, I have always shown a great interest for languages, new cultures and travelling. I used to be an air hostess, living in London, Barcelona and finally Dubai; this is when I decided to become a French Teacher, as I was starting giving lessons to a few of my friends and colleagues. So I passed my French Teaching Diploma certified by the Alliance française. I wanted to be able to work anywhere around the world. But here I am now, back to my hometown in Southwest of France, teaching French online.

About me : I was born in Switzerland. My mother tongue is French, which I always speak with my relatives and my friends. I also speak Italian as I grew up in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland (Ticino) and I still live there.

Hi guys! It's Rita here :)

I am an enthusiastic French teacher (I also speak fluently and teach English, Russian, Spanish and German). So, your mother tongue can be any of these languages  as I   speak and teach in all of these languages. Learning grammar is only one part of learning a language, the other part is to practice, practice, practice, and of course having as much fun as possible while doing so! I work with a book to give your learning a structure. However, I also choose interesting videos, audio files and conversation topics so that you get immersed into the language as much as possible. 

My focus lies on the right pronunciation, to motivate you and to show you that learning a language can be lots of fun. I have lived and worked two years in the South of France and have a German diploma in translation and interpretation for French and English. I speak 7 languages and 5 of them fluently. I want to show you that it is possible to learn a new language fast and with fun. I usually need 3-4 weeks in order to speak a new language fluently. How I do it? Through as much immersion into the language as possible: reading books, comics, watching cartoons, films, YouTube videos, listening to songs, and speaking to natives in real life and online.

For example, a beginner who needs structure might benefit from lessons from a written method that mixes grammar, vocabulary, and listening, speaking, reading and writing exercises, while a more advanced student would prefer us to focus on conversation.

Hi, I'm Sabrina, I was born in Bayonne but my studies in French Literature and French as a Foreign Language led me to live and work in different places and countries, to many students of all ages and levels ! 

That's why I would be delighted to teach my French language, whether you need it for your work, your studies, to pass your DELF/DALF examens, to brush up your grammar or to master the "art de la conversation". I always tailor my lesson, based on your level, your goals and your interests. 

As a creative person, I try to use that part of my personality to make our lesson fun yet efficient, in a relaxed atmosphere where you feel confident to speak and explore French. This is the time where you have the ability to speak French as much as possible.

I’m always in search for new material (articles, songs, podcasts, games…) to work on, trying as much as possible to use authentic material and any tools (Google Docs, screenshare, slides…) that seem adequate to learn the language French people actually speak. 

I've got loads of texbooks as well, where I like to extract interesting texts or drills to make you practise when it seems relevant to do so. 

What's important to me is that each online lesson is a place and time where you can feel confident to speak in French, in a relaxed atmosphere where you can explore our beautiful language and culture. 

I am a very easy-going, passionate and good-natured person, keen in many different subjects and aspects of our life. When I'm not teaching, I like reading, watching movies, writing, walking, traveling, practising yoga, doing theater and struggling on my guitar ! (To only name a few)
