My name is Antonello and I am a native Italian speaker excited to immerse myself in this new platform.

I have a degree in foreign languages from the University of Bari, a charming city in southern Italy. Languages are a real passion for me - especially Spanish - and I would like to transmit this passion to you with regard to the Italian language and foreign languages as well.

I am a guy who loves meeting new people and new cultures. In fact, in the past, I have worked in the front office, such as in reception - the job I like most.

I love dialectics, grammar and dialogue and I believe that communication should not be a mere exchange of information, but a constant flow of thoughts, ideas and facts between people who are willing to say, but above all to listen.

I like to set up interactive lessons so that the student is an active part of the lesson till he/she becomes the focus of the lesson itself.

I am an energetic person with a constant desire to get involved. That is why I ensure to do my best to discover your personal story and skills.

I am Ilaria, and I am a native Italian teacher. I have been teaching Italian for several years now, and I love my job.

I am a full-time Italian teacher, and I am building my entire career around the Italian language. I am also a blogger and a podcaster.

In the past, I have attended German and Spanish courses. But I am still a language student, in fact, I keep taking English classes, so I know how difficult and frustrating can be to learn a foreign language for my students.

My teaching method is focused on the students. During the first lesson, I ask them why they want to learn Italian and the goals they want to achieve. I am a supportive person, and I will constantly be there to guide you during the challenge of learning a foreign language!

With beginners, we will start learning grammar, but I will try to let them speak from the first lesson, helping them to create their first sentences.

Once the level advances, the part of the conversation will become gradually longer, but obviously, we will keep adding grammar information.

With students with a higher level, I will be more flexible and, the work to do will be decided together. Some of them prefer to have an informal lesson, based on conversation. Others prefer to have a more structured class, with readings and exercises.

Ciao! I like to think that every student of mine was a challenge in a peculiar way. I have worked with European students abroad, retired professionals, University students in Asia, company employees and teenagers: every time I have found the best way to have fun both, taking advantage of any opportunity to understand  my language and my culture! 

I'm currently working as an online tutor with beginners, mainly from English speaking countries, who are generally not familiar with the language learning process. I usually help them to get some confidence in facing basic conversations as tourists in the country. I like to engage a fun conversation about different topics like my country's culture, Italian modern literature, art and cinema history due to my solid background in these disciplines. I am also a very curious person, keen to explore new topics, so much that I had eventually supported my students'interests through language practice (for example: reading Italian sport magazines together or watching videos about Italian cuisine).

I really believe that having fun teaching is the first cause for having fun learning.

Hi! My name is Gerardo. I currently support students with their goals by teaching them Italian and English online. 

I am very patient and friendly. Over the years, I have taught all kinds of language learners. I use very effective textbooks for my students. In addition, I like to have conversations. In my opinion, knowing the secrets of everyday language is also important. 

I have a Master's Degree in Communication Studies and a Diploma in Management. Moreover, I was awarded a CELTA qualification (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) by the University of Cambridge.

Ciao! My name is Federica and I am a teacher from Florence, a city of arts, the cradle of Renaissance and the Italian language. I have 9 years of experience in sharing our beautiful language and culture with students from all over the world!

I am a teacher but also a traveler and a language learner. I have lived and traveled in many countries and speak English, Russian, French, Spanish, and a bit of Hindy and Swahili. I have a background in classical studies, a University degree in education and later I specialized in teaching Italian as a foreign language My lessons are professionally structured.

The format of the lessons and the learning content that I will provide is individually tailored to the student’s language level and learning needs. I like to keep my teaching varied and fresh! First of all, I adjust my teaching to the age and the needs of the students, but I always love to interact a lot during lessons (that is also the best way to learn a language and to have fun ;) ) Depending on the student, I use songs, tales, newspaper, ppt presentation or exercises.

I taught for 6 months to two students of 14 years old who needed some help because they were not going good at school, then I helped a 20 years old guy to pass his boarding exam for three months and my latest student is a girl of 22 years old who has to take a university exam.

My name is Donatella and I’m a native Italian Language Tutor. First of all, I think it is very important to introduce myself to give you the chance to get to know me better: I have 2 graduate degrees: a Master's degree of Languages (in French and Japanese) and a Bachelor of Economics. In addition, I have a Master’s degree in Training and Human Resource Management.

Hi, my name is Chiara and I’m from Italy, but I lived abroad for about 6 years, in the UK, in Australia, in New Zealand and in Perù. 

I am an English and Italian teacher, and I love my job. I love helping others achieve their goals.

I love traveling and meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. That’s why I decided to study languages. I am a polyglot and besides English and Italian, I can also speak Spanish, French, and German. So I know what it’s like to study a foreign language! I can teach you how to improve your speaking, and your listening, because I’ve done it myself in the first place! I also know that sometimes learning a language is not easy, but I know how you can overcome these difficulties. 

My lessons vary according to the student’s needs. During our first lesson together we will decide what your goals are and what your level is. My lessons focus on conversation to give you a chance to practise what you have studied independently, and then, if needed, we can revise together some grammar points and learn some vocabulary.

My first goal is always to make the student feel comfortable in speaking another language so that they can feel confident about it and make progress more easily.
