ABOUT ME:
✅My name is Natalia and I am a certified teacher of Russian. I have developed and successfully put into practice a unique methodology for teaching the Russian language (based on a combination of sports training methods and linguistic principles), which more than 150 students have successfully passed through.
✅I'm a teacher in the 3-d generation;
✅I have more than 20 years of experience (in addition to languages, I taught ballet and fitness, conducted training sessions for trainers);
✅Originally from St. Petersburg (Russia), but have been living in Spain (Majorca) for 12 years;
✅In the past - a ballerina, fitness coach, and even an animator in hotels;
💕I love: travel, sea, sun, positive people, animals, good wine and delicious food, theatre, ballet, art, sports.
💯My motto is “Do it with passion or not at all!”
ME AS A TEACHER:
💕For me, the most important thing is that you enjoy the learning process and enjoy it every time!
▶️With a lot of patience, my first priority is to create a positive and friendly atmosphere in the classroom, as well as to keep you motivated. But at the same time, I am always focused on your results, correcting your mistakes and practicing the material until you automatically use it in your speech. I also have a degree in sports psychology, which allows me to create my own teaching system based on a combination of sports training and linguistic teaching principles.
❤️My classes are very emotional and positive, and so am I!
MY LESSONS&TEACHING STYLE:
👩🎓In my methodology for teaching Russian, I combine the methods of sports psychology, aimed at achieving high results and motivation, with the main principles of teaching foreign languages:
✅The principle “From knowledge to skill” - each new knowledge that a student receives goes through several stages of my training to translate it into a stable skill and the ability to use new constructions automatically in speech;
✅“Helix principle” - new material, like beads, is strung on previously studied, allowing students to master new speech tools and not forget what they have learned before.
✅“Principle of uniqueness” - I am absolutely sure that each person is unique and talented, and revealing your uniqueness in the learning process is also part of my methodology.
✅The motto is “Learn languages the way an athlete prepares for the Olympics!

Здравствуйте! Приятно познакомиться!
Hello and nice to meet you!
I'm Tatiana, a native Russian, proficient English and advanced French speaker and a professional tutor of languages, certified in Russia (diplomas from Krasnodar and Moscow universities) and internationally (Delta module 1 and TKT).
You are welcome to my classes if you:
A few words about me. I was born and brought up in Krasnodar, Russia. Remember Sochi 2014 Olympics? That’s Krasnodar region, right.
I fell in love with languages since childhood and decided to become a teacher while still in my first year at primary school. I first started tutoring when I was 15, for the neighbors’ daughter who needed help with her English homework.
That determined the choice of my major at university. I graduated as a philologist and a teacher of English and French and went on to take CAE and CPE and later teaching qualification exams (TKT and DELTA) from Cambridge. I finally officially qualified as a tutor of Russian this year, 2022.
I have been teaching 1-to-1 classes offline since 1998 and online since 2017. Despite my qualifications, I’m first of all a practitioner and I build my teaching around your needs and goals.
I’m a terrible dancer, but a lesson for me is a tango round, where you lead the way to where you want to come and I follow you, making the way bright and enjoyable.
Teaching languages is my lifelong passion and I’ll be delighted to share it with you!
See you in my classes!
До встречи на моих уроках!

Привет! I'm Vika, your Russian language teacher. I'm here to help you learn this awesome language.
Back in school, I rocked Russian language and literature, even took part in competitions and wrote for the school newspaper.
I went through a phase of not knowing what I wanted to be when I grew up. I started off as an economist, ventured into marketing, and it wasn't until my maternity leave that I realized I wanted to draw and help people speak fluent Russian.
Traveling is my thing. I've been to 20+ countries. Recently, my husband, daughter, and I moved from Russia to the UK. Fun fact: I have Ukrainian roots, but my parents moved to Siberia in the 80s for work, and that's where I was born and raised.
I enjoy reading, yoga, and walks. Also, I'm artsy and tech-savvy. That's how ChatGPT and I created this text together. Keep reading to see what we made!
I don't have official qualifications, but I have undertaken several courses in teaching Russian as a foreign language. This pursuit has captivated and inspired me for the past two years.
I help students talk in Russian as easily as they do in their own language. The ability to maintain one's identity regardless of the language spoken is of profound importance.
Your narratives, hobbies, perspectives, and experiences intrigue me. I hold a deep admiration for people and their incredible diversity, as each individual is akin to a unique universe.
Having spontaneous chats about anything can be both easy and tough. My students say they like not needing to think about topics – I guide our talks by asking questions and sharing my own stories.
Usually, I don't give homework, but sometimes I might ask for extra examples using new phrases.
I'm flexible with how lessons go. So, if you want, we can chat first, then read, and tackle tricky grammar later.
Join me for a lesson! Learn Russian! Be yourself in any language you like!

Our research suggests that the average cost for private Russian lessons in Dallas is somewhere between $25-$35 per hour. As online tutors do not need to travel to you and they often live in countries with a lower cost of living, the hourly cost tends to be significantly lower.
Sometimes students tell us that they're not sure about learning Russian online because they think it’ll be completely different to learning face-to-face. But usually when they try it, they find that the experience is almost the same and they often build a solid relationship with their tutor.
Once you start a video call with your chosen tutor, you’ll be able to communicate with them as if you were in the same room. The tutor will typically also share learning resources with you (newspaper articles, YouTube, etc.) and you’ll be able to collaborate in real-time using a tool like Google Docs or Dropbox Paper.
Tutors on LanguaTalk sometimes provide lessons locally, but most only provide online lessons as it is more convenient and allows them to work from home. In addition, most tutors are not teaching Russian in Dallas because they're living elsewhere in the world. If you decide to book with a tutor, you should assume that they can only teach you online.
If you're really not keen on learning with a teacher via video call, LanguaTalk isn't going to be the right choice for you. You can instead search for a tutor on a local service listing website, or put up an advert in your local area. We do encourage you to give it a try learning online though - you've got nothing to lose as you can book a free trial session. Most people find the experience is as good as learning face-to-face, but with the benefit of having access to better tutors at a lower cost.
Whether you live in the city centre or the suburbs of Dallas, there are many options for learning Russian. You could use an app or a software program if you're looking to pick up basic vocabulary and learn some grammar rules. Alternatively, you could attend group lessons with Russian tutors in Dallas if you're keen for a social experience. Or, you could take 1-on-1 lessons with a private tutor. This isn't the cheapest way to learn a language but it's possibly the most effective, assuming you have a good tutor. Learning online rather than face-to-face may make private tutors a more affordable option. Check the tutor profiles above to see how much it's likely to cost. Prices vary a lot depending on the tutor, but will usually be cheaper than learning with a Russian tutor in Dallas, face-to-face.
On LanguaTalk, you can find exceptional tutors for 1-on-1 Russian lessons tailored to your goals and learning preferences. Here’s how to try it for yourself:
1 - Find your ideal tutor by browsing videos, reviews, pricing and availability.
2 - Book a trial. Many tutors offer a 30-minute trial for free; others charge a discounted price.
3 - Take personalised lessons with your new tutor via video call. Or try someone else.
No card is required to book a free trial session. Please only book if you're considering taking lessons. Pricing varies by tutor and you can use the filter to find someone who fits your budget. You can pay one lesson at a time, or buy in bulk for a discount (open a tutor's profile to see their pricing options).
We’re confident you’ll love learning via LanguaTalk. We're trusted by students all over the world because we're transparent. We ask students to rate each lesson, and we display reviews on tutors’ profiles.
99.8% of lesson ratings are 5 stars. Why? Because unlike other platforms, we accept only the top 10% of tutor applications.
To see our full FAQs or get help from our friendly team, click the 'Help' button in the bottom-right. You can also watch students talking about their experiences learning via LanguaTalk below.
The beauty of taking lessons online is that you can learn anytime, anywhere. When you choose a tutor, just check their calendar to make sure that they have available times that fit your schedule. Some tutors have limited availability as they already have a lot of students.
Lessons are taught 1-on-1 so that you receive your tutor’s full attention and can make fast progress. Communicating via video call, you’ll be able to talk to your tutor and share learning materials as if you were in the same room.
The tutors vary in terms of their teaching methods, resources, experiences, and personalities. So we suggest you look at several profiles to choose the best tutor for you. Whichever Russian tutor you pick, they'll aim to tailor the lessons to your individual needs.
The vast majority of students take 55-minute lessons. But some tutors also provide the option of 30-minute lessons. If they do, you’ll see this noted on their profile (below their pricing and above the ‘Buy Lessons’ button).
55-minute lessons are recommended for most students. In general, we only suggest considering 30-minute lessons if they’re for your child, or you have an intermediate level and only want conversation practice.
New to LanguaTalk? We'll give you a credit for a free trial session. Many, but not all, tutors offer these for free. If they do not, the price will be just 30 percent of their full lesson price, so you can still try a session at minimal cost.
Trial sessions last 30 minutes. They allow you to assess whether the tutor is a good fit for you, and get a feel for learning online. The tutor will assess your level and aim to understand your needs and interests so that they can customise any lessons you decide to take. You'll be encouraged to speak in Russian as much as possible, but of course you can speak in English too!
If, after your trial session, you don't feel that the tutor is quite right for you, you can book a trial with another tutor for just 30 percent of their full lesson price.
