Back in school, I rocked Russian language and literature, even took part in competitions and wrote for the school newspaper.

I went through a phase of not knowing what I wanted to be when I grew up. I started off as an economist, ventured into marketing, and it wasn't until my maternity leave that I realized I wanted to draw and help people speak fluent Russian.

Traveling is my thing. I've been to 20+ countries. Recently, my husband, daughter, and I moved from Russia to the UK. Fun fact: I have Ukrainian roots, but my parents moved to Siberia in the 80s for work, and that's where I was born and raised.

I enjoy reading, yoga, and walks. Also, I'm artsy and tech-savvy. That's how ChatGPT and I created this text together. Keep reading to see what we made!

I don't have official qualifications, but I have undertaken several courses in teaching Russian as a foreign language. This pursuit has captivated and inspired me for the past two years.

I help students talk in Russian as easily as they do in their own language. The ability to maintain one's identity regardless of the language spoken is of profound importance.

Having spontaneous chats about anything can be both easy and tough. My students say they like not needing to think about topics – I guide our talks by asking questions and sharing my own stories.

Usually, I don't give homework, but sometimes I might ask for extra examples using new phrases.
