Mercedes is everything you'd want in a language teacher. She teaches in the target language, which gets you listening and speaking in Spanish from the very beginning. I didn't know that this is exactly what I needed. My Spanish has improved so much since I started working with her. She is warm and patient, accommodating and encouraging. She is very organized and professional but fun and playful at the same time. She's just the best.

Mercedes is a wonderful instructor that I would recommend to anyone at any level. She teaches entirely in the target language providing an immersive experience that gets you talking much faster than other methods. I started with Mercedes as a complete beginner, so I can attest that she will help build the bridge of understanding piece by piece and be patient and kind the whole way. If you want to be able to really communicate in the language, Mercedes is the tutor you want!

Mercedes is an absolutely fantastic Spanish teacher who takes time to understand her students' needs and tailor her courses and teaching style. I have been using Mercedes for nearly 2 years and my Spanish has improved vastly, I passed my DELE B2 in January 2022 and I feel much more confident using my Spanish in both Spain and Latin America. She is extremely patient, explains key concepts such as grammar and vocabulary very well, and provides a variety of materials (such as reading, listening and speaking) to help with your learning. I couldn't recommend her more as a Spanish teacher for any level, from someone with no knowledge of Spanish to someone who wants to become fluent.
