Experienced teacher, friendly atmosphere, and great methodologies !
I'm Tarntawan, and I graduated Master's Degree in TEFL- certified. I used to be an English instructor at the university. I used English to communicate with my students in class. I taught at the university for 13 years. There, I also taught Thai to my students. I taught Thai to foreigners from many countries, such as America, Vietnam, Spain, China, Hong Kong, etc. My students learned communication skills from me. I was excited since it was challenging. Currently, I have at least 4 years of experience in teaching an online class.
I have a passion for being a teacher. I love transferring my knowledge to others and learning from others. "Everyone can be a teacher, but only some are the teacher with soul." For myself, my reward is not money but the success of my students. I am patient, kind, friendly, and open-minded. I love exchanging ideas with others on various topics. I enjoy talking to people from different countries in order to learn from them. Learning can take place everywhere.
I am specialized in communication for all levels of students. I usually carefully plan the lesson for my students based on their learning styles or request. I believe that learning by doing is productive in learning language and also leads to speaking naturally. However, if you need more skills to cover, we can discuss them in class. I provide the handout, exercises, assignment varied on each individual. For teaching material, I have a variety of materials such as audio or media: songs, films, and commercials. I plan and design my teaching materials by myself; therefore, if you are about the book, No books, but I provide handouts.
Moreover, I also lead the conversation about current topics, including slang and expressions in daily life. I teach according to the lesson plans and lead to the updated topics or trends that can draw your attention and motivate you to speak more. For intermediate and advanced levels, the topics are varied on interest and can be tailored by the students. Surely, the amount of speaking Thai should be encouraged, and I speak less amount in English, too.

My lessons with Kru Tharntawan help me build my vocabulary and get accustomed to everyday conversations, She also tailors lessons to my circumstances. I had a cold during our last lesson and she quickly oriented the lesson to how to talk about being sick, visits to the doctor, etc. It makes the learning practical and interesting.

Kru Tarntawan meets each student where they are, encouraging them to expand their use and understanding of the Thai language. Her approach is fpcused on encouraging use of the language and provided gentle correction to help students learn. She phrases similar content in different ways to prepare students for conversations in Thai. Rather than learning a script (which native speakers are not likely to follow), she prepares you for the variations used in daily language which better enables you to speak with others. She also uses different types of approaches to foster communication. The use of story boards where the student uses their knowledge of Thai to talk about what is pictured I particularly enjoy. I look forward to many more lessons and continued progress in speaking, reading and writing Thai.

The lesson with Kru Tarntawan was interactive. She split the comprehensive content into small elements which helped me to memorize. In general speaking, she is a very good teacher.
