Hello!
I am Chantal, a native French speaker. I also speak English fluently, and I have some knowledge of Spanish. I have been a Certified Secondary School Teacher for 20+ years, and I am still just as passionate about teaching!
Together, we can practice the four skills of language learning: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Having learned two languages myself, I understand how intimidating language classes can sometimes be. That’s why I craft your lessons according to your level, and personal needs.
I provide the material and tools you need, and I am open to any suggestions in terms of material or topics. I use pictures, videos, songs, articles, and more to make the lessons varied and enriching.
I offer a friendly environment, where you can have fun, make mistakes, retry, and learn at your own pace.

Chantal is professional, kind and has a great range of material . She is knowledgeable and knows how to transcend useful tips and knowledge from grammatical rules to vocabulary . She is very understanding to personal circumstances and having a class with her is a pure pleasure . I couldn’t recommend her enough she is THAT great:))))

I have been taking lessons with Chantal for 9 months now. When I started, I was so reluctant to speak in French that I thought I was just wasting Chantal's time. But she was always pleasant, and supremely patient with me. Now I can finally converse in French with much more confidence than I ever thought possible.
