Passionate about languages and intercultural exchanges, I have taught English and Spanish as foreign languages for over 15 years in Puerto Rico, France, and online. I have had the opportunity to teach a wide variety of students from various backgrounds, integrating multicultural teaching resources to diversify learning styles. I happen to believe that there is not one and only way of teaching or learning a foreign language. Therefore, I adapt my lessons and methods to the students’ objectives, needs and interests. My goal is always to offer an open, honest, communicative and supportive environment in which every student can feel motivated and appropriately challenged.

If you are looking for a high quality Spanish teacher then you will find it with Alexandra. She meets you exactly at your level of understanding but at the same time incorporates different methods to allow you to reach the next level in your journey of learning a foreign language. Her passion for language is evident and always gives great feedback. It helps that she has a strong educational background in language that she utilizes in her sessions, consistently providing scaffolding to help me along. She also provides a recap of the vocabulary that was discussed directly after the lesson. I appreciate her patience and will continue to book sessions with her.

Alexandra teaching style puts her students in an optimal position to learn. She does a great job of connecting with the student, allow comfortable space to ask questions and learn, while also pushing you and challenging you in order to advance your lessons.

I always look forward to my lesson Alexandra! Today it was really interesting discussing driving cars in Puerto Rico vs in Europe while practicing new verbs and vocabulary.
