I'm Tarntawan, and I graduated Master's Degree in TEFL- certified. I used to be an English instructor at the university. I used English to communicate with my students in class. I taught at the university for 13 years. There, I also taught Thai to my students. I taught Thai to foreigners from many countries, such as America, Vietnam, Spain, China, Hong Kong, etc. My students learned communication skills from me. I was excited since it was challenging. Currently, I have at least 4 years of experience in teaching an online class.
I have a passion for being a teacher. I love transferring my knowledge to others and learning from others. "Everyone can be a teacher, but only some are the teacher with soul." For myself, my reward is not money but the success of my students. I am patient, kind, friendly, and open-minded. I love exchanging ideas with others on various topics. I enjoy talking to people from different countries in order to learn from them. Learning can take place everywhere.
I am specialized in communication for all levels of students. I usually carefully plan the lesson for my students based on their learning styles or request. I believe that learning by doing is productive in learning language and also leads to speaking naturally. However, if you need more skills to cover, we can discuss them in class. I provide the handout, exercises, assignment varied on each individual. For teaching material, I have a variety of materials such as audio or media: songs, films, and commercials. I plan and design my teaching materials by myself; therefore, if you are about the book, No books, but I provide handouts.
Moreover, I also lead the conversation about current topics, including slang and expressions in daily life. I teach according to the lesson plans and lead to the updated topics or trends that can draw your attention and motivate you to speak more. For intermediate and advanced levels, the topics are varied on interest and can be tailored by the students. Surely, the amount of speaking Thai should be encouraged, and I speak less amount in English, too.

Tarntawan's lessons are very friendly and makes writing, reading, and speaking Thai easy to understand. She is helping me improve in pronouncing different tones alongside teaching me the Thai alphabet, and I've learnt a lot in my 3 lessons with her. Looking forward to more lessons!

Kru Tarntawan is an excellent teacher, in the lessons I have had with her I have learnt so much. She is so understanding and also took the time to explain some of the culture and the way Thai words are spoken in different situations. She is so understanding and patient I highly recommend studying with Kru Tarntawan if you want to improve your Thai.

Myself and my partner have had joint lessons with Tarntawan. Tarntawan makes it easy to learn together and practice together at home. We both come from Asian families and did not speak any Thai. We have gained confidence, and Tarntawan allows us to run at our pace and is accommodating. We receive support sheets to practice and recorded aid. I definitely recommend this tutor.

I really like Kru Tarntawan. When I started learning Thai, I didn't have a single knowledge about the language. There were a lot of videos online about basic phrases and stuff, but I figured, it will be better for me to learn properly from scratch, and it did. We started with learning different Thai tones. On the 2nd session, I can already construct simple sentences based on the words that I learned that day. I used to think that learning Thai would be really hard and I also get overwhelmed with the different tones, but Kru makes it easy for me to understand everything. Now, I've had 6 sessions(?) [I missed some because I was sick] and I feel like I have already learned a lot of words and improved my tone. Even if I don't know some of the words in the sentence, I can already understand what it means. Kru is also very kind and accommodating. I really have fun learning with her. I highly recommend Kru Tarntawan to those who are interested in learning Thai. :)
