I am Maya. I started teaching because I’ve always loved language exchanges for my own language study.
I’ve been studying Italian and English for so many years that I understand very well the difficulties for leaners. I experimented many methods of learning on my own, so it would be helpful in order to give you efficient advices.
I have 7 years of experience in teaching and also currently I’m teaching in a language school for class and individual lessons.
So I think have a valuable experience.
In addition, I was born in Tokyo, Japan. So, if you study with me, you would be learning Japanese from a Native-Japanese speaker with correct accent!
I graduated from the Information technology major and I’m also freelance front-end web developer.

It's incredible! I'm only a beginner, but Maya sensei manages to create an immersive learning environment in her classes, so that we are starting to communicate in Japanese despite the fact that my vocab is very very limited!!

I appreciate it a lot that Maya sensei always checks my understanding of each grammar concept before teaching me the next one. She provides me with many exercises and homework, I'm really looking forward for my classes with her!!!

I feel very comfortable with my tutor, as she is able to help me when I need it and show me where to improve. My Japanese has gotten better since tutoring with Yoshizawa-san.
