I am a patient and dedicated German tutor (check my reviews :) ) and I have worked with adults and children of all ages and German levels, so I have teaching material for every level and for exam preparation. Recently, I helped one of my students to pass the Goethe B2 exam. I started teaching languages 5 years ago and obtained a teaching certificate. I´ve been teaching German online for about 3 years. My mother tongues are German and Spanish, but I also speak English (C1 level) and a little bit of French.
Every student is unique, that´s why I prepare each lesson carefully, taking into account the needs, interests and learning goal of my students. The structure of the lesson also depends on the way of learning that works best for you. That´s what we are going to discuss in the trial lesson. You will also get an idea about how our lessons will be. And as I get to know more about your interests and hobbies, I can prepare lessons with topics that are interesting and practical for you.
We will practice reading, listening, writing and speaking. Therefore, we will use videos, worksheets, online exercises, dialogues or role-plays. We will practice everyday German and the vocabulary that you personally need. I will also guide you patiently through the grammar topics. If you want, I will give you homework after the lesson.

Stella is an excellent tutor who has helped me improve my german from basics (close to zero) to significantly better understanding and speaking. Stella's method is based on (i) careful lesson plans which she pre-agrees with the client, (ii) mixing grammar, reading, verbal, and writing tasks enough to keep it interesting, and (iii) focusing on deepening areas of interest (sports, nature, hobbies, supermaket) to focus on things that are useful in every day life - I would assume this can be pre-agreed and would vary for each student. What Stella is absolutely brilliant with is to encourage me to speak. She is always extremley patient and encourages repetition and approaching the topic from several ways to make sure that you understand the concept. I know not everyone likes homework but I always ask for homework which Stella spends a good amount of time preparing for before the class to ensure its relevant, but also suring the class to check if I had any questions. I really like that Stella does not follow a book (liek I have seen with other tutors) but she creates her own lesson plans with various worksheets that she shares with her students based on each client's level and interests. I would highly reccomend working with Stella. One thing I would add is that whilst she might look young, she is very experienced and confident in her work. I have had more than 20 classes already and can see a noticeable improvement in my german language skills. Thank you very much Stella!

We practiced speaking today. Stella was very good at asking genuine questions to help me express myself in German. I feel my speaking improved a lot after taking her classes for a year
